Peace Providence Photo Exhibit

Local photographers present their photos taken over the past year of Rhode Islanders making the “peace” sign and answering the question “What can I do to make Providence a safer place for women & girls?” Wine and cheese reception, with photos on display during the entire festival.

The Vagina Monologues

Join Rhode Island women as they raise their voices and the roof at the Providence Renaissance Marriott, in Eve Ensler’s ground-breaking play about everything female. Gather the girlfriends for an afternoon of fun – and bring the guys along too! Event includes a high tea with finger sandwiches and yummy desserts and cash bar, with lots of “vagina friendly” vendors and information tables.

Documentary film following a women’s writing group led by Eve Ensler in Bedford Hills Prison in New York. The women’s original writings become the play “Any One of Us”, and the film shows Marisa Tomei, Glenn Close and others reading the stories inside the prison to the women that have written them.
